I was in the mood for a salad so we decided to go to Panera Bread. I absolutely love the Fuji Apple salad with extra dressing. The broccoli cheddar soup is my fav soup too. Hubby had the chicken melt and chicken rice soup. Service was quick and friendly and they had a nice fireplace for us to warm up.
Good morning and it's time for my second office of the day. Second coffee as well, though the coffee bar this morning ran out of hazelnut coffee and the half and half was out. I pointed this out to the young man working the counter and both were refilled immediately. The dining room was clean with no tables having dirty dishes. I spotted a table in the corner with power and spent an hour there, sipping on coffee and running through a quick phone call. Emails sent, Yelp review written, back on the way to the next stop. Came in for the Napa Valley Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich, and I was not disappointed. The chicken salad is tasty, a bit on the sweet side, but the almonds are an absolute delight. As usual, the coffee was up to Panera's high standards, and I also got a pecan twist since pastries were discounted when I was ordering. Service was quick, friendly, and helpful. I should definitely have lunch here more often.
